During the past years of restoration projects, Wat Phra Kaew has unearthed hundreds of mysterious stone statues that were later proven to be hundreds of years old, harking back to the eras of King Rama IV and King Rama V. With the appearances of humans in various origins and some mythical creatures, these new treasures are now on display throughout the premises of the sacred and splendid Wat Phra Kaew in the Grand Palace.
The Grand Palace is open daily from 08.30 to 15.30. Tickets are THB500 per person for foreign visitors; Thai nationals are required to show their ID card upon entering. For more information, visit www.royalgrandpalace.th.
