เทศกาลลอยกระทง หรือคืนพระจันทร์เต็มดวงเดือนในสิบสอง คือหนึ่งในประเพณีเก่าแก่ที่งดงามที่สุดของไทย สืบทอดมายาวนานกว่า 700 ปี เป็นคืนแห่งการขอขมาพระแม่คงคา ผู้หล่อเลี้ยงชีวิตและสายน้ำอันอุดมสมบูรณ์ของผืนแผ่นดิน ขณะเดียวกันยังเป็นช่วงเวลาแห่งการขอบคุณ ธรรมชาติ ความสัมพันธ์ และสิ่งดีงามในชีวิต
ในปี 2568 นี้ เทศกาลลอยกระทงซึ่งตรงกับวันพุธที่ 5 พฤศจิกายน จะถูกจัดขึ้นภายใต้บรรยากาศแห่งความเคารพและน้อมรำลึกถึงสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ผู้ทรงอุทิศพระวรกายเพื่ออนุรักษ์ศิลปวัฒนธรรมไทย และทรงเป็นแบบอย่างด้านการรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อม เพื่อเทิดพระเกียรติและสืบสานพระราชปณิธาน งานลอยกระทงปีนี้จึงเน้นการใช้กระทงจากวัสดุธรรมชาติที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม สะท้อนแนวคิดแห่งการอยู่ร่วมกับธรรมชาติอย่างสมดุล และงดงามในวิถีไทย

The Loy Krathong Festival, or the night of the full moon in the twelfth lunar month, is one of Thailand’s most beautiful and ancient traditions, spanning over 700 years. It is a night for seeking forgiveness from Phra Mae Khongkha (Goddess of Water), who nourishes life and the abundant waterways of the land. Simultaneously, it is a time to express gratitude for Nature, relationships, and the good things in life.
