
Mother pleas to use cannabis oil to stop son Mitchell Gisbourne’s seizures
A MOTHER facing possible prosecution has called for high-strength cannabis oil to be available on NHS prescriptions to stop her epileptic son suffering life-threatening seizures. Mitchell Gisbourne, 15, has had fits since the age of five months, when he was infected with the herpes virus. He has tried eight different epilepsy drugs and undergone two brain operations – which are carried out as a last resort – all without his condition improving.
